Maybe your family spends weekends riding bikes, baking together in the kitchen or gardening in the backyard. Maybe you’re happiest splashing in a creek, exploring a new trail or just spending an afternoon outside. Whatever it is that brings you together, I want to capture it.
These sessions are documentary inspired and centered around the things you genuinely love to do. There is plenty of room for little ones to run, splash, get messy and be their wild, wonderful selves. Rather than asking everyone to sit still and smile, we’ll create space for the laughter, the little details and connections that make your family yours.

About Me
Welcome! My name is Jenna Burling and I am a photographer based in Lynchburg, Virginia. As a new mom, I knew I didn’t want to stop adventuring when my daughter was born. Now, nearly a year into motherhood, some of our sweetest memories have come from finding ways to include her in the traditions we already have and the new things we’re discovering together. I’ve learned that adventure doesn’t always have to mean hiking a mountain (although we do love a hike). Sometimes, it’s as simple as trying something new, getting outside, or finding a little wonder in an ordinary afternoon.
